Earlier this month, Forbes Magazine, reported that Beyonce's "I Am... Tour" grossed over $170 million worldwide. However, the truth has come to the light. Billboard has reported on 97 out of 104 of Beyonce's tour dates. The gross with those 97 tour dates amounts to $103 million. The other remaining, 7 dates could not have possibly grossed a staggering $67 million dollars. It's very questionable of such a prestige and high class magazine to report such a huge miscalculation, especially on such an international star like Beyonce. What are YOUR thoughts?
They meant the total gross.. Tickets & revenue from tour books, clothes & other memorabilia.
ReplyDeleteNo it specifically says tour gross, meaning revenue from the venues. Tour books, clothes, etc. aren't taken into account when these are done.
ReplyDeleteYep, they mean TOTAL gross - box office receipts don't equal TOTAL gross. Like @Cold said, they have to count books, clothes, posters etc after - hence, as billboard reported, $103 mill.
