R&B singer Ciara is bringing the heat this time around. With the recent release of her new single 'Ride', remixes to 'Pretty Boy Swag' and other tracks, she is now set to release a mixtape. I'm all about putting yourself out there, but a MIXTAPE? Since when did female R&B artists do mixtapes? It seems like her label is more concerned about buzz on the internet than they are buzz to the actual buying public. Why hasn't she performed on the late night talk shows, MTV, or done any promotional concerts?Jive really does not know how to promote/manage their artists. They completely screwed up powerhouse vocalist, Jordin Sparks last album, Britney Spears 'Blackout, and Chris Brown's 'Graffiti'. Things are not looking good for Ciara right now. Can 'Basic Instinct' push enough interest to sell respectable numbers?
